here are some of the games that can be played in chalet. date and time is not set yet.
Possible games suggested are:
-cling cling
-water bomb
-multi level captain's ball

Cling cling is a game like; erm... for example, person A cling onto person B by holding hands or interlocking their arms la. person C is the runner. and person D is the catcher. so person D tries to catch person C. if person don't want to keep running le then C can cling onto A or B. the other person will become the runner if he/she is not clinged by person C. get it? any questions about cling cling can ask jing wen.

so these are just some games suggested la :)

We decided to divide the 315 bucks we have, equally for 36 ppl = 34 of us + Mr quek and Mr Tan. Therefore, the price for the steamboat(initially is $16) will be reduced to $7.50 for each of us. Which means we only need to pay $7.50 each. As collecting 50cents is a hassle, we would like to seek your cooperation and give us $15 for each pair.
As you can see, in each pair there will be an A and B, the odd no. and even no. respectively.

To make it easier for you, the As can pay $15 to us while the Bs pay back $7.50 to the As, or vice versa.

We do not want to collect 50cent coins. Thank you. A five and ten dollar note for each pair is greatly welcomed.

Meeting time & place : 2.00pm @ Pasir Ris Mrt station, bus interchange. Meet at the qeueing line for service 403.
Please be punctual. You can go yourself or in groups with your fellow classmates.

Things to bring :
1. Sets of clothes to bring (if you want to get wet/sweat alot)
2. Undergarments, quite alot of them?
3. Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, towel(s), comb, toilet rolls?)
4. Money For money, it's up to you how much you want to bring. Suggest to bring more cuz there are places like Escape and Wild Wild Wet. Per entry is like $16 already.
5. Swimming wear, if you want.

ADD-ONS. YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER BRINGING THIS.

• Deodorant
• Loads of water ‘cause it’s freaking stuffy there
• Electric fan if you like (small one, okay?)

Inside the chalet area :

Around the chalet area (outside) :
Wild Wild Wet, Escape Theme Park, Food and Beverage Entertainment outlets. Got one fishing for prawns area lol. You want also can go la.

IMPORTANT!
AT ALL TIMES, THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE CHALET, PLEASE PEOPLE, PLEASE, BE AWARE OF THE DANGERS THERE.

1. We are responsible for our own safety.
2. Please, no monkey-ing around.
3. Don't hurt yourself unnecessarily.
4. When visiting places, be aware of your own actions.
5. Go in big groups at all times.
6. Tell someone where you are going, before venturing out.
7. The internet kiosk over there will most probably be koped most of the time.
8. There might be some paikia(bad people) there so please be careful.
9. There should be air conditioner in the chalet. So, hopefully, the chalet won't be stuffy.
10. Unfortunately, if it rains, it'll be really stuffy inside the chalet.
11. We're going to bond alot during this chalet so please dont give black faces. It's the last year together.

13. Lastly, enjoy.

DETAILS FOR FOOD
After much discussion, we have agreed on no BBQ-ing this time round.

1. Not enough money for catering.
2. No catering means we have to buy food. Thus, its very difficult and messy.
3. And according to wenzhe, our chalet is only40sqm and there's not a decent kitchen. Therefore, we shall not make a mess.
4. So, we will have a hassle-free meal instead.
5. Thanks to Sixian's mum and most probably spaghetti from Charmaine, we shall have a wonderful meal together, as a class.
6. Food provided, from Sixian's mum, will most probably be: chicken wings, fried fishballs, beehoon, etc.
7. This preparation is only for the meal on the first night.
8. For the second day's breakfast and lunch, it will be free-and-easy. For second day's dinner, we shall have cup noodles.
9. Everyone is to buy their own cup noodles and bring along some disposable chopsticks or forks. Bring as many cup noodles, according to your ability to eat.
10. For the third day's breakfast before check out, consider Mcdonald's delivery/ go and eat at the F&B outlet in Downtown East/ etc.
11. We will be using disposables. Charmaine and Yaozhong will be buying them. Please be careful with how you use them. Save the earth.
12. Complaints will be rejected.

DETAILS FOR DRINKS
1. Syrup drinks (orange, watermelon, rose, etc) and Fruit Punch --bought by Charmaine
2. SPONSORED DRINKS BY MR TAN-- Coke, 100plus, ice lemon tea, green tea.

We can go to Pasir Ris Park which is very near our resort.
Wild Wild Wet and Escape Theme Park is just a 5 min walk from the chalet. Please don't force yourself to use the facilities there, just because of peer pressure. For example, if you are scared of water, please don't go to Wild Wild Wet. We don't want anything unpleasant to happen to you. Safety first.

FYI, we will be doing th shopping on 5th of DECEMBER 2008.
INTERESTED PPL ARE WELCOMED TO HELP OUT.
which means to do th shopping with us and maybe, bring th food back. :D
th venue and time are nt settled yet, soo.. will be updated. we have alrdy confirmed what we really need to buy and settled our budgets for each of th items. some changes were made, like for example, th no. of tongs needed.

since we only have one pitiful bbq pit for 40ppl, we will need you all to provide as much cooked food as possible. tidbits and bbq food would not last for long.

for those who are unfree on 5th of DEC, therefore, not able to help us do th shopping, will be given another alternative of providing cooked food and cleaning up th chalet after everything. however, dont worry, everyone will get their fair share of cleaning up.

charmaine suggests that those who are interested in th planning of th chalet to meet at her hse someday at some time. so interested parties can just approach her directly and if there is a handful of ppl, i think she will be able to arrange th time and date of th discussion when she is free.

jane oso suggests that we can group you all , then assign each group to be in charge of an item that is needed to bring. yea, more or less like this.

and we have a kind soul giving us info on a catering service. wah, indeed is a kindsoul. thanks anyway. so about th catering service thingy, please consider also.

chisze also volunteered that she will be able to buy/bring ice and th disposable items like plates, spoons, forks..etc. and she may spare some of th barbeque equipments. sooo.. both me and sherye thought up of some suggestions, we plan to do a things-we-need list, so that you all can volunteer to buy th listed items on it.

th things we had finalised that we need to bring:

NUMBER 1: DISPOSABLES- forks, spoons, plates, cups, bowls.

NUMBER 2: CHARCOAL for barbeque.

NUMBER 3: LOADS OF TISSUE PAPER OR TOILET PAPER.

NUMBER 5: WATER! - after our observations, water does not seem to be provided. so PLEASE bring minimum 1litre of water each.

It is just for your revision. So, you don't have to rush it at the last day of holiday(I'm sure some will - or in fact many)
So you guys don't have to hand it up to me. You CAN do your own marking.
Anyway, you are supposed to.
Also, can Claudia or Charmaine finalise the date or the outing?
I hope it's not on 29... Something MAY clash...
If it does... Well, the only thing I can look forward to is my primary school open house...

finally, the hols are here.
i bet uue all can start playing computer games lerh but dun get to obsessed by them. mus rmb to complete ure homeworks n projects.
aniwae mus rmb to come for ure remedial lessons on nxt mon n fri wich i think shld be fr 1pm-3pm. pls gather at the canteen first n dun make so much noise as the secs 4 r having their o'lvl exam, so pls be considerate.
our class outing will be on nxt thurs, 29 of MAY. it is finalised. pls rmb to be punctual. a relay msg will be passed down to uue sooner or later, to reminder uue all of it.

well, the following is the list of projects n homeworks tat must be completed when sch reopens:

-chemistry[create ure very own filter system tat can be used to filter muddy water. other info can be found on the handout given by mdm chew]

-2 book reviews, do on foolscap paper [genres of the 2 books: an autobiography and a crime novel]
-DIE bk: comprehension, do on foolscap paper. Do all 13 questions of the comprehension passage"The school from Hell"[pg 74-80] including the Vocabulary Questions n Supplementary Vocabulary questions.

chinese: -one book review. book shld be borrowed fr school library but i think fr national library is alright 2.

physics: -Class Test(supplementary)[the one tat Benedict sat 4] this is optional but is better if we do it.

geography: - asknlearn quiz

that shld be all, i suppose. if i missed out anything pls tell me. rmb to go to take ure ICT survey on asknlearn. the deadline is nearing.
